Bloemendal Wine Estate is a historic gem, situated in the fertile Durbanville Valley, just 30 minutes from Cape Town. The farm was established in 1702 and is one of the largest wine farms in the region, reaching up along the Kanonberg Mountains. A producer of world class award-winning wines, an idyllic wedding and function venue and home to the popular family restaurant, Bon Amis, there are so many reasons to visit Bloemendal Estate.

Bon Amis’s team of talented chefs, led by Chef Lungile Ngwenya , dish up an array of delicious and colourful plates that are a pleasure to eat. From family friendly dining at Bon Amis, brunches on the deck and casual al fresco dining, to intricate canapés, wedding feast and bespoke set menus, Bloemendal Estate cuisine will delight your taste buds – whatever the occasion.

Bon Amis is a popular family restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bon Amis specialises in wood-fired pizzas and freshly made sushi, alongside their hearty seasonal fare.
ESTATE FUNCTIONS
Bloemendal offers multiple venues within the estate where you can choose to host your event, wedding or private function. Big or small, simple or elaborate, Bloemendal’s events team is on hand to assist with all your function needs.
PETS AND ANIMALS
As much as we absolutely love dogs, we may not, unfortunately, permit dogs onto the estate. We apologise for any inconvenience, and trust you will respect our wishes to protect our wildlife, flora and vineyards. Please come and enjoy our mountain bike trails, running routes, fabulous Bon Amis Restaurant and The Tasting Room. Please note: Service-dogs are always welcome. 🦮 Pets are regrettably not allowed on the property. We thank you for your cooperation!
