Bloemendal Wine Estate is a historic gem, situated in the fertile Durbanville Valley, just 30 minutes from Cape Town. The farm was established in 1702 and is one of the largest wine farms in the region, reaching up along the Kanonberg Mountains. A producer of world class award-winning wines, an idyllic wedding and function venue and home to the popular family restaurant, Bon Amis, there are so many reasons to visit Bloemendal Estate.
Including the vast trestling of vineyards, Bloemendal Estate spans across 239 hectares. With a restaurant, tasting room, bike track, kids play area, wedding deck and lush lawns available for functions, the versatility of estate is just waiting to be discovered.
Bloemendal Estate wines are made in a small boutique cellar by talented winemaker, Andri Hanekom. He uses old and new world methods to produce wines that reflect the unique terroir.

Bon Amis is a popular family restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bon Amis specialises in wood-fired pizzas and freshly made sushi, alongside their hearty seasonal fare.
Bloemendal offers multiple venues within the estate where you can choose to host your event, wedding or private function. Big or small, simple or elaborate, Bloemendal’s events team is on hand to assist with all your function needs.
As much as we absolutely love dogs, we may not, unfortunately, permit dogs onto the estate. We apologise for any inconvenience, and trust you will respect our wishes to protect our wildlife, flora and vineyards.
